i have a stock 2000 suburban 4x4,it came with 16 inch rims, can i put on 18s
it has stock suspension, will I be able to replace my 16 inch rims with factory 18 with no lift and be ok?
Ya you can fit all the way up to a 22 and still get some decent tires with sidewall on them, just as a reminder though if you go up in rim and tire size you may have to have your speedometer adjusted accordingly, and if it has tire pressure sensors, they'll need reset or you can have that option completely turned off
Thank you very much for the quick response and the intelligent answer..I really appreciate it,I was looking to avoid buying new tires for a run down vehicle
Your welcome, I forgot though, depending on how big you go, you may have to make some minor shaving on your front bumper. Not much though, my friend has a stock 05 Tahoe, and has 33's under it and maybe shaved an inch, in a downward slant. He also has 13 inch wide rims though. Like I said it'll depend on what you decide to buy. Have fun!!
