looking for a owners manual any idea where i might get one
i purchased a 1994 sl 500 and it does not have any manuals with it. I have figured out most of the controls but not sure about the lights and the traction control
Apparently you need to register yourself as a MB driver before they will give you the owners manual. At least that is through the MB website. https://secure.mbusa.com/MBServlet/SLController?ID=105120769&machineID=103862579&source=owners&url=http://www.mbusa.com/owners/index.jsp You may want to try places like Ebay or MB forums.
I ORDERED THE MANUAL FOR MY 1999 SEVILLE SLS FROM HELMINIC.COM IT WAS AROUND $45 BY INCLUDING THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND A MANUAL ANYWHERE ELSE. GOOD LUCK, I HOPE THIS HELPS. DAVID
go www.getmercedesparts.com and put in the part number for your manual. It will be something like 230-xxx-xx-xx I just got one NEW for my 2007 SL 550 for $15.63 . This is actually a MB dealer in Annapolis, MD that sells parts on the internet. I think they get these from Germany, so allow some time for them to get it to you. You can always download for free the PDF files for any Mercedes manual on the Mercedes Website - http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/service_and_parts/owners_manuals
Got mine from eBay. $15.00
