I have the key however with the battery dead I can't get into the trunk to pull

Get one those porta power start jump packs, then you can plug it into the power port inside the car, it will supply enough power to turn on basic electricals, it will not start the car from the power port.

usually in vehicles equipped with the battery in the trunk, when you open hood you may see a red and black (positive and negative) terminal, those terminals also serve as a jump start location. you may only see one terminal (B+) you can connect that and the other to a known good ground and jump start the vehicle.
