2001 mercedes ML430 BAS/ESP AND ESP warning light
Recently as I'm driving down the road, usually after an hour or so, my ESP warning
light starts to blink then my car drastically slows and pulls to the right. When it first
happened I though I blew out my front right tire (that's how it felt). Then my BAS/ESP
light would come on and stay on. At first it would happen once then not happen again
for a few days. Yesterday, after a 2 hour trip, as I am pulling into my neighborhood it
happened every few feet, then worked fine. Does anyone know what the issue it. I'd
like to have some knowledge before I bring it in for servicing so I can talk intelligently
about my problem and most importantly, know what they are telling me is correct.
Wheel speed sensor is sending a traction loss signal tripping ABS to slow that wheel causing a pull.
Thanks for the feedback. That makes sense to me.
Need to take in to mechanic to have the Computer checked out some with the senor is happening.
