Hello papa: Thanks for your quick reply regarding my issue with the grinding noise when turning. I just topped up my steering fluid recently as there was excessive noise from the lack of it. I did not associate this other issue with the steering pump but will try to repeat the noise tomorrow on your recommendation. My unprofessional assumption was that a bearing might be going although I have not jacked up the front to check for wheel wobble. I appreciate your suggestion. I’ll let you know what happens.
