my bas/esp and ets lights came on. Car running normal do brake pads need changing
Our bas.esp and ets lights came on in our mercedes. Car runns great nothing seems to have changed. Pad maybe low and it needs new tires could this be the problem?
Hi Brett. The ML320 has had some issues with the sensors associated with these alarms. You may want to have the control module checked first. Other sources of triggers here include the stop-lamp switch, steering angle sensor, or a booster diaphragm travel sensor. It's at the point where you need to have a tech run a diagnostic to see what's going on. Good luck!
Try replacing the brake switch at the brake pedal first. It is an inexpensive guess and you can do it yourself. Part is about $25.00.
Faulty stop lamp switch, causes all kinds of lights on dash.Cheapest part on whole car
