Can I Jumpstart the engine battery in the front? I have a 2004 e500. My issue is the everything in the car works but when i put the key in it wont turn over. Will this battery cause car not to crank?

I tried to jumpstart the engine in the rear.. All the lights come on the radio seats move and everything however the car still doesnt crank

You might have a shorted out battery. Put a voltmeter on the battery, what voltage do you have?
