if all else fails can trunk lock cylinder be drilled out?
i have tried all suggestions on here. i must have a bad fuse in trunk as well. If I
drill lock cylinder out will I be able to open it? Please help at wits end on this
car. 2003 clk430 cabriolet.
I would call a lock smith before drilling the lock out.
Granted I don't know much about Mercedes Benz but how about removing the rear seat back and see if you can gain access to the trunks internal release lever.
I've looked and there is no way to remove rear seat back.
Then I would do as regrets suggested and call a locksmith, they can pick out the tumblers and cut a key and then your all set. In some cases your car insurance might pay for part of it, just a thought.
