How to get window to relearn its position

Drivers side window goes up, but when I open the door the window comes
down about 1-2 inches.

That is the way it is supposed to be. Both the windows will come down a little when you open the doors so that windows become water tight when you close .

Hi I need to know if you could help I am pitting in a new rear back windscreen but am unsure if I am supposed to use heat glue or can I use window siligen an if so what kind I haven't taken out the window as of yet but would truly appreciate your in put.... Thank you kindly
