Im about to buy a 2003 C230 Benz from my co-worker. its has 130,000 but it wont start. She doenst want to pay the mantainence anymore so she selling it for 2500. She said that the front fuel go wet and now the car wont start. Its that possible??
yes...but "the front fuel"? take it to a garage, have the tank drained and put new fuel with a can of HEET to remove any latent moisture~...it should start if your seller is telling the truth...have him pony the mechanic bill up~
Anything is possible. It is a ten year old car and buying it is taking a gamble. I agree with the Judge it take it to a mechanic for a diagnosis before buying. You don't know what is wrong but chances are good that it's not because something got wet. Cars get wet all the time when it rains.
