lamp malfunction

Asked by Nov 24, 2011 at 05:49 PM about the 2003 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I notice on Thanksgiving Day--when Everything is closed!-- that a "CHECK" LIGHT is light up on my dashboard.
I look at owner manual...All it says is 'lamp malfunction" and "GO TO Toyota Dealer" (which I prefer not to do b/c it always costs way more...)
What does this mean? I own a Camry 2003 LE. Thank You
