Chevy cavalier 2.2l
Wat tools do i need to replace the rod bearing i
have the oil pan and all that off i just dnt know wat
tools i need
Do you plan on just replacing half the rod bearing? The crankshaft needs to come out to get to the upper half of the bearing.
I just need to know wat tools i need to remove the bolts on the bottom of the rod
Just a 1/2" drive socket and strong arm.
Ok i will try that but i dnt wanna have to pull the engine to pull the crankshaft
The rod cap will be snug on there once you get the 2 bolts out. Use like a dead blow for tapping it off. Then you would need to find the torque speck when tightening the bolts back up. You would need a torque wrench for that.
I found out the specs for that but couldn't find out the tools i needed
