how can I drain the transmission fluid on a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier.
You'll have to remove the pan. But first remove the bolts from 2 sides of the pan. Then pull down gently on the pan so it doesn't get bent. You'll need a large collection pan to catch the transmission fluid. It will be kinda messy. Once the fluid is drained, remove the pan and gasket. HTH. -Jim
