I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with close to 200,000
miles on it.
About a month ago I was having problems where
the car would jerk back & fourth and the rpm would
jump. It got so bad that the car cut off and
woukdnt start at all. I was told by a mechanic I
needed a new ignition coil so I Boughy a new one
from auto zone and had it replaced. Right after it
was replaced I go to start it up and by my surprise
it actually started. It was running fine for a few
minutes but it got worst and worst the longer I kept
the car on. Its was the same jumping and jerking
but this time the engine was shaking
Do anyone know what the problem may be?
Could be the plugs or another coil. Is the Check engine light on? Do you hear any air/hissing under the hood? Fluid levels?
