2000 Chevy Blazer Fires but, won't start
Recently bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer. The fuel Gauge didn't work so I had
a new fuel pump installed. Everything worked, took it on a 600 mile round
trip and brought it home. A week later it started having problems starting. It
would crank and wouldn't start but after a couple of tries it would eventually
start. Now it won't start at all just keeps cranking.
Put a spark tester on and it gets plenty of spark, put a fuel pressure gauge
on it and it is only getting 50 lbs of pressure.
Replaced Fuel filter didn't do anything, had a Mass Air Flow sensor code so
I replaced that and it didn't do anything. Finally decided to change fuel
pressure regulator put the new one on still only getting 50 lbs of pressure
and now the pressure is bleeding off.
We think it might be the pump but, the pump I bought was a Delphi pump
and it didn't have any problems until 2-3 weeks after I had the pump put in.
No codes are popping up and I am running out of ideas on what it could be.
