Did your replacement fuel pump come with new pigtail? If not that might be your problem, they tend to corrode internally then the amps spike and overheat circuits then shut down, another fried relay. Double check.

replaced pigtail & a splice 4' back 3 relays and they all click but pump won't run it's new from Napa and since the new pump was installed it used a quarter of a tank of gas in 47 miles

Check the fuel pump power and ground if they check good then it is a bad pump, make sure it is the right fuel pump, 1/4 tank in 47 miles tells me it could be the wrong pump or your fuel pressure regulator has blown.

right pump 4 sure , was told by several reg"s bad from the old pump , gonna drop the tank again I guess only problem I got is I work 7/12s on the pipeline , no free time and these garages just wanna gouge ya

I'm thinkin more like wire's in the fuse box since I hit it and it started 1 last time and definetly the reg gotta be bad cuz the milage dropped that quickly

You could be right, it can happen on both ends of the wiring, you should be able to find it right at the fuel pumps relay plug, could go back a few inches.

gotta unbolt the fuse box ?
