As your diesel is computer controlled, you need to purchase a computer memory power unit, it is a 9 volt battery and a harness that plugs into your lighter or a hot all the time power port. This will save your learned driveabality and radio codes in your rig. If you don't want to buy the unit as your rig has 2 batteries you can service the batteries one at a time, just make sure the cables don't touch anything.
