What's making my oil pressure keep going up and down and then stuck on zero? Truck sounds and runs fine.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The oil pressure guage goes to zero, sits for a while then goes to normal and back to
zero and the engine guage light comes on. It's not making any grinding or valve noises at
all. Oil level is normal.

Then I would suspect the oil pressure sensor is faulty.
