My trucks 4 wheel drive keeps going in and out and we can't seem to figure out what it is.

Check the actuator at the transfer case,it is what shifts it in to 4 to 2 wheel drive,or could be faulty switch.

Check the resistance on the switch also hookup an OBD 2 scanner see if code is being sent to computer
