Dashboard lights no longer work after service

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a new external oil pressure gauge installed,
and now that gauge lights up but not the
speedometer or other lighted gauges on the
dashboard.

Sounds like they disconnected the power and or ground for the instrument cluster illumination and connected it to the new gauge. This is why aftermarket accessories, especially electrical accessories, can quickly become a problem! Jim

Any time your computer gets a " curve ball " it can send it into a tizzy affecting other unrelated functions ,
