chalkie exterior vinyl

Asked by Mar 22, 2010 at 11:59 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Tracker ZR2 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 2001 Chevy Tracker. I love it and it is beautiful! But, all the exterior vinyl is chalkie in color and striped.

Anybody have any ideas on how to return the vinyl to the original color?

Clean it an use some black vinyl paint on it.

Onces & onces and liters & milliliters of tire dressing (i like foam myself) with elbow grease would overtax a vinyl paint plan.

Ounces of elbow grease!

Still more units of elbow grease.
