Same thing happened to me. I repaired it. 3D printed a coil former, 70 turns of 32AWG, glued in place and connected up the new coil.

Same thing happened to me. I pulled one out of a donor vehicle, can I take the board out of the broken module housing, put it in the new one, and solder up the little connecting prongs?

Pop the top off the case. The board is secured in clips, and by two stout pins that are the coil connections on the right hand side, above and below the pillar that pokes through. You must carefully unsolder these pins. To do that you either need a vacuum unsoldering tool, or copper solder wick to suck up the solder. When the board is free of those two pins you can just lift it out. You'll probably need assistance from someone who knows how to unsolder things so as not to damage the board. Then remove the board from the donor part the same way, drop in your old board and solder the pins. Your old key will then work and no reprogramming needed. Alternatively you can just make a new coil and solder it where the old one used to connect.
