Dodge 1500 2005 powering off randomly. Any ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dodge 1500. Year 2005. V8. Powering off
about 3 times. Has a little over 80k miles.
So far I have noticed one thing that I do with
my truck everytime it powers off. I make a
turn. First time I made a wide turn was
going very slow and the steering wheel
locked up and the truck slowed down and if
I pressed on the gas it didn't go anywhere. It
just slowed down to a creep and shut off.
All the lights were still on. No check engine
lights. Turned the truck off and it came back
on. The second time I had made a sharp
turn and it powered off again..same exact
thing as last time. Steering wheel locked up
and lights stayed on but truck was off. 3rd
time I backed up and started driving I guess
I did turn a little bit and it powered off. This
time I didn't notice if the steering wheel
locked up or not. It has gas and oil. No
codes are showing up when I take it to the
dealership. I was driving slow each time it
had powered off. I want to know what is
wrong with it.

I would have the fuel pump tested and change the fuel filter as well.

Ok I'll try that thank you

is engine idle smooth and at proper rpm.on some cars and trucks the power steering pump will put small resistance on the serpentine belt when the steering is forced to full lock.

Dodge 1500, 98 ,5.2l, truck run good, but lose of power at 60m/h in hilly road ,stall at the stop or red light and stall when i turn my wheels wide to park ,no problem to restart the engine after i stall ,no code nothing on obd ???? 2 years , ago i had that problem but after 2/3 months the problem stop ,again since today the problem return ???
