I got a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4.7engine mag. There a knocking sound coming from air con. compressor. I'm thinking its the bearing, but when I took belt off the pulley seem to fill just fine.

It could still be the clutch bearing, when you take the belt off you take away the load from the belt tension, so it may feel smooth by hand but still have a bad spot inside the bearing itself. This assuming that the A/C compressor is not running when you hear the noise.
