1500 Dodge pickup 4.7

Asked by Jun 16, 2016 at 01:13 PM about the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab LB 4WD

Question type: General

Do I have to use exact same year and engine
for that truck

Your stuck with the 4.7 unless you want to redo the entire electronic controls and wiring and powertrain from another V8 or larger powered Dodge truck. You might want to consider buying a running totaled truck and transfer things from there.
