the pinion bearing is out of my dodge and has damaged the ring and pinion so I need to replace the rear end and I cant find any tags to tell me what ratio it is could you help please

Carefully count the teeth on both gears and divide the pinion number into the ring number (of teeth) and you will get a number like 3.55. That number you get will be the gear ratio.

Another idea is to look at the front differential for a tag. The front would be the same ratio. Except I had a 1967 Ford Bronco that had 4.10 diff in the front and 4.11 ratio in the back. Figure that one out. I'm guessing the front would pull (lead) slightly.
