My truck has been having some stalling problems like once a week while slowing down to make a left turn. The lights stay on and there is no stutter or noise before it stalls. What should I do?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When it stalls the steering wheel locks up
before coming to a complete stop and
then I put it in park, turn it off, and it fires
right up no problem then doesn't happen
for about a week. No codes or check
engine light

Change out your power steering pressure switch. Failure Symptoms: When the power steering pressure switch indicates the system is always on or always off, the engine control computer illuminates the check engine light to the problem. During low speed parking lot maneuvers or when the engine is in idle, turning the steering wheel may cause the engine to bog down, and then surge as the computer overcompensates for the load. In some cases, the vehicle may stall at low speed when the wheel is turned, as the engine computer did not know there was a sudden demand for power and could not compensate fast enough. My 2008 dodge ram hemi died when veering left going 65 miles an hour in heavy interstate traffic. The only thing the dealership could find was supposedly worn plug wires due to rubbing on the firewall. I had the plugs changed by the dealership at 35K miles so I am assuming the mechanic didn't not position the wires properly after installing the plugs on the right lower side of the engine. All I could find was about a foot of electrical tape wrapped around the plug wire. Supposedly the mechanic installed new plug wires at a cost of $600+ dollars to repair. Had the plugs changed again at 85K miles and 3 weeks later the same thing happened again. I was veering left on the street in front of my house going about 15 miles an hour and the engine died. Both times the engine started right up. The latest observation is that there are 2 brake lines sitting nearly on top of one the plugs. Dodge has a very serious issue with their inability to harness the plug wires and providing ample tolerance for engine shifting during turns.
