will the transmission in a 2003 dodge durango 4.7 liter 2wd interchange with a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 liter

start with the pan bolts . do they match ? then look for any numbers on the trans . measure the total length , check where the lines hook up then search the vin. #'s the tranny type may be included , I would think they would have to be exactly the same as models change year to year

Thanks for the advice,I was kinda hoping someone could tell me which mods would b similar in advance so I'd know what to look for.
