my 2004 ram 1500' will run the starter,when trying to start but won't fully start trucck. What could be the problem?

Is the motor turning over slowly? It's hard to tell what your problem is.

the motor turns hard, maybe fuel pump?

If it is trying to run,and shutting off,check fuel filter,then check the pump,you can check fuel pressure to confirm fuel problem.
