Blower motor

Asked by Jun 26, 2017 at 06:05 PM about the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 liter Hemi.
When I run my air conditioning after a little while
smoke comes out of my steering column wires
getting hot. My blower motor was putting out 24
volts so I bought a new one. Also got a new
ignition switch because that's where the wires are
running too. Now after about eight months it's
starting to do it again. What could cause this to do
it again please help thank you.
