fuel rail cross-over.

Asked by Sep 19, 2015 at 11:38 PM about the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT SB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I keep busting the cross-over fuel line and dealer replaced fuel pump. They
don't know the fix.

Check your fuel pressure. If it keeps going higher and higher I'd suspect the fuel pressure regulator or a blockage in the fuel return line going back to the gas tank. Maybe a kinked or crushed return line. HTH. -Jim

That's the first thing they did and it was fine. I'm out 1600$ and now they don't want to make it good. The first time they towed the truck in, it was left running and caught fire. Thanks for your info. Don
