my 1500 SLT 4x4 four wheel drive shift handle is sloppy loose, won't go into four wheel drive mode hi or low. please tell me what's wrong?

for not wanting to shift to 4x4, have you checked your solenoid in the front transfer case? and the sloppy look for worn out bushings in your shifter. i always try K.I.S.S. FIRST (keep it simple stupid)
