What would cause a 2001 Dodge 1500 4WD to just out of the blue, start blowin tranny fluid back out the fill tube?
Tranny was fine going down the road. After stopping and starting to take off from a stop sign, fluid began blowing out the fill tube! Tranny was just rebuilt a little over a year ago.
Transmission overheated, was the cooler cleaned when the trans was rebuilt? It may be clogged, if you do anyki dog hauling or towing you might consider getting a GOOD transmission cooler maybe one with a fan on it, then bypass the one in the radiator altogether.
I was not hauling anything! yes, the fluid was cool when they rebuilt the tranny.
Say what? The cooler in the radiator, was it cleaned?
