2001 dodge ram 1500 abs and brake light on padal goes to floor, however the master cylinder has fluid and the rear abs speed sensor has checked okay

Air in the lines. Also if your fluid is milky it's gotten water in it (not impossible if air can get in, so can water) and all your soft lines will likely need replacing if there's alkaline corrosion. I off road in the desert in mine and that's exactly how mine went out.
