My 2001 dodge ram pickup 1500
318 5.2l battery wont charge I
replaced the battery altenator
and idk what els it could be help
please.

ECM has the voltage regulator built inside it, bad way of doing it but that might your trouble, I have seen a few people rewire the charging system back to the old external regulators, but you would need a factory wiring schematic for both styles to do the rewire, then you may have a check engine light.

Check your charge cable coming off of your alternator going to your battery mine corroded and killed my battery every time it ran
