why my truck 1999 dodge ram 1500. when i turn it on, and is cold the oil pressure it goes up good , but when the engine warms up, the oil pressure goes lower again?
Put a manual gauge on it so you can watch the actual pressure between cold and hot, it maybe a bad sender or you could have and oil pump problem, the manual gauge will verify if you indeed have an oil pressure problem or a sender or gauge problem. HTH
I agree, however what weight of oil is being used, and is it being changed at regular interval's, some cheaper grades of engine oil will break down and lose viscosity sooner than other better grades, higher mileage will also become a significant factor, considering, leaking seals, gaskets, valve seals, etc..
