I have a 1999 Dodge 1500. The ac works and the heat works. The issue i'm having is the air is stuck in the defrost vents and it will not change from cold to heat when I change the settings.
The most common failure is a broken vacuum line that feeds the control head in the cab. Defrost is the default setting if it looses vacuum. So check the main vacuum supply first before proceeding to check the other lines and the vacuum servo motors.
I will start looking at that. Thank you
