I have a 1999 dodge ram with a blown transmission thats just gathering rust.
Any suggestions for what I should price it?

You would probably get more if you parted it out, someone is always looking for a good engine, differential, etc.

You don't mention the mileage on the truck, but at it's age the truck is probably worth less than the cost of swapping transmissions. It would only be economically sensible if you already had a cheap or free tranny. If you have storage space break the vehicle down and part it out, or sell it off as a mechanic's special.

A 1999 Dodge Ram with a good transmission is next to worthless, but with a blown transmission, the best thing to do is scrap it for the metal.
