Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1998dodgeram won't start no pressure to fuel
rail fuel pump hums a few seconds as expected
started to fire with starter fluid 1 time now back to
turning over with out starting

Check the actual fuel pressure and flow at the rail, just cause the pump runs doesn't mean that it is making any pressure.

It has zero presure

And now starting fluid does nothing

if you have used too much starter fluid you can wash the cylinder walls and loose compression, but focus on the fuel delivery problem right now, If your sure you hear the fuel pump run briefly and still have no pressure then replace the fuel pump assembly and recheck fuel pressure. then spray a little WD40 in the intake as it is being cranked and see if it then fires up and runs.

OK I'll try that and get back with u thanks

Someone told me maybe the crank position sensor or can sensor I had just replaced the transmission and I noticed a few wires chewed threw from field mice I suspect I had it parked in the barn I replace an injector wire and inspected the power supply box to find 2 wires broke connections and fixed them and checked the whole harness aswell
