01 chevy subur 5.3. Gas in oil.....Fuel injectors or fuel pump or new motor ?????
Service Engine light is on . Oil level
too high and smells like gas. Also
when suburb is on , fuel pump making
whinning noise .
first thing to do is change the oil..gas in oil?can you see it or just smell it? intake gasket leak?
Have the oil changed and the fuel system checked for leaks. That is have a pressure test done. You may have bad injectors leaking or the computer is not giving the correct signal when to inject fuel. If this is a new thing, no damage should be done to the engine. Have the system flushed out, put in a low number on the oil and run it for ten minutes or more, then change the oil and filter again and put the good stuff in. But before that is done, find the reason for the gas going into the oil. You also my consider a compression check as you may have broken or bad rings. Then an engine tear down may be necessary.
