my transmission skips between 50 and 55 mph.other then that everything else is fine
Ok I replaced my heater core and had no problems with my transmission.my truck been setting for 4 days why'll i was taking dash out and all sudden some transmission fluid was leaking where all the linkage and arms was located front left driver side of transmission.so when i finished putting heater core and dash back in and drove on high way i noticed my transmission slips between 50-55 .and yes i replaced transmission fluid that i lost and my transmission been rebuilt 3 years ago and warranty just expired 2 weeks ago.so did i did something wrong when i replaced heater core when i took dash out for it to leak train oil and slip like that or is it something else.
I can only guess that the transmission fluid might have been leaking before the heater core replacement, you replaced what fluid you lost, but it still might have been under filled causing the slipping. Warm the truck up in park, level surface and with engine running check the fluid level.
