my 97 dodge ram is starting to shake when I drive it but not when it's idleing any ideas why?
It sounds like it is misfiring. If the check engine light is on or is flashing then i would have a parts store check the codes and if it has misfire codes then it could be plugs, wires, ect.
is it getting worse the faster you go but at regular rpms not flooring it if it is it could be as simple as a tire out of ballence or ball joints. at idle you should still feel a miss pop the hood while idleing and stare at the plastic breather if its a random or constant miss it will jerk evertime it misses. hope this helps a little more
it does have mis fire codes and check engine light is on idles fine its like some flip a switch while i was going down the road it happen that fast.
