What is the biggest motor i can put in my 97 dodge ram 1500 without having to change anything???

That depends on what you have in it now.

You could get by with a 360 but you will have to have the ECM upgraded for the larger CID's. But it should be a bolt in operation. Try some of the Dodge truck forums for more ideas.

360 will drop right in. your pcm will run it, but you really need to get a pcm for the 360 to make the most of it.
