Radiator leak

I fixed it but the truck still overheats when I drive 4 blocks.

Or you didn't get the air purged from the cooling system when you filled it back up.

When engine is cooled or carefully open radiator and run it, after engine reaches normal temperature see if water circulates inside radiator, if not, then you have a restriction, thermostat or pump issue. What did you fix?

Question if I had my thermostat fix and I did not have any leaks until the next morning after driving it over 70 miles the day it was fixed could the hose on the bottom be lose? Would that leak not show up while it was running and the machsnic was looking at it and testing it

@Gurux29HV This is an old post but it could've been that the system was overfilled with coolant and it just got rid of excess coolant after it heated up. Check coolant kevel, if it's ok, don't worry about it
