Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At about 45 mph the floor starts to shake
near the 4wd shifter if you let off the gas or
go faster it stops? What would cause that
and can I fix it myself? Its a ram 1500 5.9l

Sounds like a bad U-joint or a weight fell off your driveshaft making it out of balance. Search for articles on removing the driveshaft and replacing your U-joint. www.youtube.com is a good place for videos. It involves getting under the truck and doing some wrenching.

Thanks I'll get back to you on how it goes

Could also be a bent front drive shaft if you've been out in the woods or on the rocks.
