what's it mean secondary coil resistance is 11.2 and not 11.3
I tested the primary and secondary resistance on my coil and the seconday reading was 11.2 not 11.3 as the manual specifies.does that mean that I need to replace the coil??
A tenth? Difference in calibration between meters. When I was measuring a coil using my cheapie Harbor Freight multimeter I was getting readings that were "all over the place." I took out my good meter and got a lot more steady and sensible readings.
In the back of the meters there's a potentiometer used to calibrate it at the factory. They can miss by a hair :)
Nah, the coil is aging, but not shot yet. HTH. -Jim
