While replacing my ignition of my 2001 chevy impala we did not correctly wait 10 min to set the security system and just tried to start the car now non of the lights will turn on ?

The 10 minute myth is exactly that, a myth. The keys have to be programmed to the car in order for you to be able to start it. HTH. -Jim
