Is 141000 miles on a 2006 a problem?

Asked by Feb 18, 2016 at 10:49 AM about the 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT 2dr Club Cab SB

Question type: General

Considering a 2006 Dakota SLT with 140,000 miles for $6000.  Is it worth that
with that many miles?  For my teenage son as a first vehicle so I don't want
him to immediately have maintenance issues.

Options? Crew cab, regular cab? 4x4 or 4x2? Also, what engine?

It is a SLT, 3.7L V6

crew or club cab? and 4x2 or 4x4? Big difference in prices.

Club Cab Sport, 2WD, clean CarFax, beautiful color

I would say that is a very fair price if it is in good condition. If the vehicle is local to you, I would see if you could meet to look at it at your local mechanics shop so he can give it a quick once over.

Thanks so much. I will do that
