What is the difference between 1st and 2nd gen 4.3 vortec engines?

The 2nd has vortec heads. it also has roller cams. and has 195 hp. Injection and intake r set up all different. There are actually 3 gens of vortecs the first were found in real wheel drive cars with throttle body. 2nd were put in blazers but with out roller cams or vortec heads. 3rd from 96 to present have all the good stuff

And i just thought of it if its a 94 and ur doin and engine swap its not obd 2 so u could drop anything u wanted in that thing as l;ong as the emmisions stuff is all wired in
