With those miles it should not be but it sounds like the timing chain.

Sounds like a bad starter. When you crank the engine the Bendix in the starter pushes the drive gear forward to engage the flywheel. This cranks the engine. Sometimes a starter will go bad and just spin in place. That's the noise you're hearing. HTH -Jim
